The southernmost school within the Blast Zone a new record holder for points scored in a single game. Woodland will have to update the record book after Kennedy Bockert went for 39 points and added 22 rebounds to lead Woodland to a 73-43 win at R.A. Long, Thursday evening, at The Lumberdome.
The sophomore post proved too tall of a task for the Lumberjills’ defense, especially with R.A. Long’s opposing six-footer Evelyn Ofstun sitting out long stretches in the first half in foul trouble. So the Beavers kept feeding Bockert, again and again.

“We felt like we had more depth and athleticism then they did and that allowed us to push the tempo up the court and feed Kennedy the ball right away in good position to go to work, and she wound up setting a school record for us tonight,” said Woodland coach Glen Flanagan.
