Amundson mashing in Mile High City
Hitting baseballs over the fence has become commonplace for ex-Lower Columbia College baseball player Easton Amundson, a senior infielder at Metro State University in Denver.

In an 11-4 win over Adams State University, Amundson went 2-for-4 with two runs batted in. He slapped a run-scoring single in the fourth inning, and backed it with a solo homer in the seventh. In a 17-4 drubbing of Adams State, Amundson went 3-4 including a two-run dinger in the third inning, a two-run double in the fourth, and a run-scoring two-bagger in the seventh. Another ex-LCC player, Royce Vandine, went 1-3 in the game for Metro, hitting an RBI sacrifice fly in the first inning, and a two-run double in the fourth.
