Kelso's Natalie Fraley is still in search of a coveted national title as a member of the University of Portland women's basketball team.
The Pilots have won their first two contests in the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament, and have improved to 31-4 on the season heading into their Elite 8 matchup with Villanova on Thursday.
In the tournament's opening round, Fraley, a junior guard, had five points in seven minutes off the bench as Portland needed overtime to turn away Stanford 69-68. The Pilots won their Sweet 16 matchup against Seton Hall 61-55, and Fraley provided solid defense despite scoring no points in six minutes off the bench.
