Langdon, Lafever lead Castle Rock over Monte

The Rockets got Christmas started early, Saturday, with a 65-46 win over Montesano in a non-league matchup between 1A District IV foes at LeBaron Court.

Owen Langdon led Castle Rock with a game-high 17 points, while Jacob Lafever posted 16 points in the win. Langdon added seven rebounds and three steals to his counting stats, while Lafever posted four five-finger discounts on defense.

“This was a great defensive effort,” Castle Rock coach Jordan Spencer said. “Jacob Lafever had a solid outing offensively, but also played very well defensively for us.”
