‘Nooks hang tough before falling at Hoquiam
The Chinooks were unable to sustain the firepower needed to knock off Hoquiam in the Grizzly Den, Wednesday, in non-league boys basketball between 1A District IV foes.
Kalama was led by Abel Koski’s 14 points in the loss. He added eight rebounds and four steals for the visitors in their second road contest in as many nights.
The ‘Nooks trailed by just six points after the first half and kept things close again in the third, but couldn’t keep up the pace in the fourth when the Grizzlies went off for 23 points.
