Toledo’s Fallon sets blocks record in win over Toutle Lake

The Riverhawks helped to get the playoff season started last weekend with a 67-49 win over Toutle Lake in the opening round of the 2B District IV boys basketball tournament at Rochester High School. Cooper Fallon led Toledo with a game-high 26 points to go with 13 rebounds, four assists and just one blocked shot.
And that one swat was all Fallon needed in order to become the single-season leader for blocked shots at Toledo High School. Fallon, a junior, now has 101 blocks in his career which puts him ahead of Westin Wallace on the school leaderboard.
“He got one and that’s all he needed,” Toledo coach Grady Fallon said of his son’s accomplishment. “Westin Wallace actually reached out to him in the days leading up to the game, so that was a pretty cool moment.”
