KALAMA — Castle Rock didn’t do it the easy way but the Rockets sure made things entertaining for the rest of us in a five set win at Kalama, Tuesday, in a 1A Trico League volleyball tilt. After getting their doors blown off in the first set, The Rock spikers came back to take the rivalry match by scores of 12-25, 29-27, 20-25, 25-11 and 15-6.
“For some reason this year our girls feel like Game 1 is just like practice, and Game 2 we’re in it, and Game 3 we’re playing volleyball,” first-year Castle Rock coach Katie Munoz said. “They have the potential to do this, they just have these moments where they feel like they can’t dig out.”
