Loose, Langsi lift LCC over Cougars

The top-ranked Lower Columbia College softball team needed extra-inning long-ball heroics to remain undefeated in a recent Northwest Athletic Conference South Region matchup with the 10th-ranked Clackamas Cougars on the road.
LCC (17-0, 9-0 region) got a two-run homer from Brooklyn Loose, and a grand slam from Emma Langsi in the ninth inning to claim an 18-12 slugfest victory. The 12 runs allowed by LCC were the most allowed in a contest this season, and were more runs allowed than in the previous nine games combined.
