April 18, 2017: Toutle Lake’s Zach Vetter and Kalama’s Colby Rader engage in the ultimate pitchers’ duel in C2BL baseball play, without the cleanest defense behind them, striking out six apiece and allowing six hits total without an earned run between them. In the top of the seventh, back-to-back two-out errors put Ducks on the pond, and an Austin Sweet infield single put the guests up 1-0. In the bottom of the frame, the Chinooks got a runner to second with two outs and waved him home on a Toutle Lake error, but the Ducks recovered to hose him at the plate to end the game.
